Well maybe you're right, but you're only talking about a portion of Mary Mtn being boring not the whole thing. I like walking thru the wide open spaces of the valley. Crater Hills to the south, the rolling hills to the north where Spurgins Slide is hiding. Plus when I hiked MM there was a pack of coyotes to keep us entertained as well as a bunch of bison in rut to avoid. If you look at the hike in it's entirety Mary Mtn is much much better. LOL
I might have to hike to Natural Bridge again. I don't remember the hike that well. It was so boring I must have dozed off. Just kidding. All hikes in Yellowstone are good. Roadie and I always say our favorite hike is the one we are on.
